The present monthly report from ACAT-Burundi highlights the persistence of serious human rights violations in Burundi, in a tense political context, approaching and following the legislative and communal elections of June 5, 2025.
During the month of June 2025, ACAT-Burundi documented 22 cases of murder, 5 cases of abduction, 13 cases of arbitrary arrest, and 8 cases of torture.
